The Deeds Brewing story began in a brewing class at Sir Walter MacKenzie High School, which also happened to be the year Duncan turned 18. In October of 2012 he and Allison, having explored for two years before that moment about beginning their own brewery, started contract-brewing under the Quiet Deeds name. By 2013 they had found a location and were approved for development by North Vancouver City Council. They opened their doors officially in 2015, now with their own distillery as well as the brewery. All of Quiet Deeds' beers have won awards and a second is coming soon: Dark Deeds!
